Kristin Baird is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is recognized as an expert in the field of cosmetic dermatology and has practiced medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology for over a decade. Dr. Baird’s focus has been neuromodulators, fillers, and lasers. In fact, DCR has over 10 lasers that offer treatments for many different types of skin conditions.
Currently, Dr. Baird is on the faculty in the Department of Dermatology at The University of Colorado where she teaches a dermatology resident clinic. She strongly believes in sharing her knowledge with others and has had numerous medical students and residents train at DCR.
Growing up in the Longmont area, Dr. Baird has many close ties to the community which have allowed her to support many local area charities. She feels that it is important to give back to the local community and to the people who have supported her over the years.
Dr. Baird attended the U.S. Naval Academy and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Florida where she was named “Outstanding Zoology Student”. She received her medical doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in 1998. She graduated in the top 5% of her medical school class and was elected President of Alpha Omega Alpha, The Medical Honor Society, in her junior year. Her post-doctoral training included an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology at VCU/MCV, where she was Chief Resident in her final year.
