Kristin M. Baird, MD, FAAD

Dr. Kristin Baird is a board certified dermatologist, nationally recognized leader in aesthetic medicine, and the visionary Founder of Dermatology of the Rockies. With nearly two decades of experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, she has become a trusted expert in the northern Colorado region and beyond.

Dr. Baird specializes in advanced aesthetic treatments, with a clinical focus on neuromodulators, dermal fillers, lasers, body contouring, and the integration of mind-body wellness therapies. Under her leadership, Dermatology of the Rockies offers over 15 state-of-the-art devices that address a wide range of skin conditions, aesthetic goals, and even mental resilience. Reflecting her passion for helping patients feel their best—inside and out.

Raised in Longmont, Colorado, Dr. Baird has strong roots in the community and is committed to giving back through ongoing support of local charities and outreach initiatives. Her dedication to both her patients and her hometown has helped foster a practice that blends cutting-edge dermatologic care with a deeply personal touch.

Dr. Baird began her academic journey at the U.S. Naval Academy, where she earned a Varsity Letter in swimming. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she was honored as the “Outstanding Zoology Student.” She earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/ Medical College of Virginia in 1998, graduating in the top 5% of her class and serving as President of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. She went on to complete her internship in internal medicine and her dermatology residency at VCU/MCV, where she served as Chief Resident.

Today, Dr. Baird continues to pioneer new approaches in aesthetic medicine while cultivating a practice rooted in expertise, compassion, and innovation.
